Processed in Astro Pixel Processor, Lightroom, Photoshop The brightest supernova in the sky right now, known as 2025rbs in the relatively nearby spiral galaxy NGC 7331. Still a very faint object because of its distance (47 million light-years), but the brightest object in that galaxy, and relatively bright as supernovae go since it's closer than most. Also in the frame are a few other galaxies listed in the NGC catalog, apparently smaller, but only because they're farther away.
